The Latino Comedy Project celebrates its 25th Anniversary with a laugh-filled evening of classic sketches and hilarious memories! Join founding members of the Emmy-nominated, critically-acclaimed sketch comedy group The Latino Comedy Project for “LCP:25,” a hilarious retrospective anniversary celebration of the group’s twenty-five years creating cutting-edge multimedia comedy in Austin, Texas and across the country. “LCP:25” runs TWO WEEKENDS ONLY, Thursdays through Saturdays, March 14-23 at Hyde Park Theatre, 511 West 43rd Street, Austin, TX, 78751. “LCP:25” digs deep into the archives to revisit classic sketches and group memories from its unlikely formation and debut show at an Austin Community College campus theater in February, 1998 to its years touring North America, its multi-million-view viral videos, its surprise Emmy nomination to its more recent triumphant reunion with the critical and commercial successes “Gentrif*cked” and "¡Estar Guars!" It’s the very best of twenty-five years of live sketches, video parodies, musical comedy and personal cast stories. A quarter century of biting political/pop culture satire and larger-than-life hilarity - all packed into a single evening! Each night will also feature an audience Q&A with the Latino Comedy Project and previews of exciting all-new original LCP productions planned for 2024 and beyond! “LCP:25” reunites founding LCP members who haven’t shared a stage in nearly two decades, including members Patricia Arredondo, Omar Gallaga, Raul Garza, Erica Saenz, Mical Trejo, Nick Walker, Adrian Villegas, Chuy Zarate and many more cast members from over the LCP’s 25-year group history. "LCP:25" is literally a once-in-25-years event! YOU CAN'T MISS IT!
