Adventure waits in a jungle where danger lurks in every tree and only the brave dare enter! This energetic and creative version of the classic tale ignites imagination and propels the audience through a world ruled by the wild. When her parents are killed by Sherakhan, the young Humancub is raised by wolves, under the protection of her friends Bagheera and Baloo. In this tale of loyalty and betrayal, the Humancub must find the courage to face this challenge and choose her fate under consequences of jungle law.Performance Schedule: Saturdays & Sundays at 2pm; Nov 2 added 11am performance for Sensory Friendly; special evening performance Friday, November 8 at 7pm; Saturdays at 11am & 2pm beginning November 16Age recommendation: 5 and up Run time: 45 minutes with no intermission

ZACH Theatre announces the cast for Jungalbook, the 2019-20 season opener for ZACH's Moody Foundation Family Series. A retelling of Rudyard Kipling's Mowgli stories, Jungalbook is adapted by Edward Mast and plays The Kleberg at ZACH, September 7-December 14, 2019, under the direction of Associate Artistic Director Nat Miller with original music by Allen Robertson.

ZACH Theatre, Central Texas' premier professional theatre, announces six Mainstage productions along with the Family Series and holiday add-ons as part of the 2019-20 season. The Mainstage Season includes: Steven Dietz's new work Dracula: Mina's Quest, a 21st century look at the Bram Stoker classic; A Night with Janis Joplin returns celebrating the legendary rock goddess;  Every Brilliant Thing, Duncan Macmillan and Jonny Donahoe's touching and charming play; the timely and probing new work Roe by Lisa Loomer; the new immersive musical Reunion '85; and the quintessential family musical, Rodgers and Hammerstein's, The Sound of Music.
