Performed in 90 minutes with only three actors, this award-winning adaptation of Dostoevsky's masterpiece compresses all the tension and pathos of the novel into a powerful evening of theatre. Dive into the greatest crime story ever written, a tale of murder, motive and redemption that plumbs the depths of the human soul.Special Events Saturday 3/23, First Saturday Soiree. Join us after the performance for a special reception with the artists of Crime and Punishment! For those looking to dig deeper, participate in our latest post-show discussion. Director Jeremy Lee Cudd and the cast of Crime and Punishment will be joined by Marina Alexandrova from the UT Department of Slavic and Eurasian Studies and Dr. Lucia Summers from the Texas State University School of Criminal Justice. We'll be discussing the connections between Dostoevskys 1860s Russia and our world today, along with powerful themes from the play, including poverty, violence, isolation and redemption.
