Marietta Hosts MLK & Malcolm X in THE MEETING

These two men lead millions in the fight for civil rights and were taken from us too soon. In honor of Black History Month, Marietta's New Theatre in the Square and Actors Theatre of Georgia brings Jeff Stetson's original story of the evening Martin Luther King Jr. and Malcolm X meet privately to debate about their differing approaches to improving a lot of the black man in a predominantly white society.
This special two-week engagement is sure to embody with the spirit that tomorrow can and will be a better day just as long as we use our voice to speak our truth. Directed by Marietta's New Theatre in the Square recently added Associate Artistic Director Nic Starr, Featuring Atlanta actors Kerwin Thompson as MLK and Jael Pettigrew as Malcolm X.

Marietta's New Theatre in the Square is located at 11 Whitlock Ave Marietta, GA 30064. Parking is free anywhere on the square daily Monday through Friday after 5 pm and all day Saturday and Sunday. If you cannot locate a parking spot on the street you may find parking at Marietta Square East Parking Deck located 1 Haynes St, Marietta, GA 30060
