It may be cold outside but things are heating up for Atlanta Lyric Theatre's new production of THE FULL MONTY playing from February 12-28 at the Jennie T. Anderson Theatre.

Based on the cult hit film of the same name, THE FULL MONTY has great music, an engaging contemporary story, and one of the most highly anticipated closing numbers in theatrical history. Don't miss the fun...tickets are on sale NOW!

"I think audiences will enjoy THE FULL MONTY because it's a very human, very touching story," says Alan Kilpatrick, Associate Artistic Director of Atlanta Lyric Theatre. "It's a show about men helping each other gather courage and hope, in spite of the unfortunate circumstances of their lives. Audiences will relate to them and love them because of their quirkiness and their humor."

THE FULL MONTY is a story with heart. While spying on their wives at a 'Girls' Night Out,' a group of unemployed steelworkers from Buffalo see how much the ladies enjoy watching male strippers. Jealous, out of work, and feeling emasculated, the men come up with a bold and unclothed way to make some quick cash. In preparing, they find themselves extremely exposed; not merely physically but emotionally. As they conquer their fears, self-consciousness, and prejudices, the men discover they're stronger as a group, and the strength they find in each other gives them the individual courage to "let it go." Right to the end, audiences will be wondering if these lovable misfits will really pull it off!
