Bitingly relevant and sprinkled with sass, BRING IT ON: THE MUSICAL takes you on a high-flying journey through friendship, forgiveness, and determination. The colorful crew of characters execute explosive aerial stunts in a performance that is sure to be everything you hoped for and nothing like you expected.

With an original story by Tony Award winner Jeff Whitty (Avenue Q), music and lyrics by Tony Award®-winning composer Lin-Manuel Miranda (In the Heights), music by Pulitzer and Tony Award®-winning composer Tom Kitt (Next to Normal), and lyrics by Amanda Green (High Fidelity), BRING IT ON is a musical worth cheering for!

Set in the high stakes world of competitive high school cheerleading, BRING IT ON: THE MUSICAL tells the story of Campbell, cheer captain and most popular girl at the uber-affluent Truman High School. Before she can lead her award-winning squad to another win at Nationals, school redistricting forces Campbell to transfer to the multi-ethnic Jackson High School.

Knocked off her throne as resident teen queen, Campbell tries to make sense of her new "outsider" status. Soon she discovers a plotting sophomore is responsible for knocking her from the top of the cheer pyramid. With a national title on the line, Campbell must convince Jackson's "it-girl", and leader of a hip-hop dance troupe called The Crew, to start her own cheerleading squad and help bring about some sweet revenge.

BRING IT ON elevates musicals to a whole new level, with the same skyscraping pyramids, high-octane basket tosses and mid-air arabesques you'd expect from real cheerleading competitions televised on ESPN (courtesy of the real-life cheerleading champions that round out the cast).
