Aurora Theatre has assembled the best children's performers in the region, bringing them to Gwinnett County in order to give parents and their children a chance to experience their artistry in our amazing facility in downtown Lawrenceville.
Aurora Children's Playhouse final installment of children's performances in our 2009-2010 Season is highlighted by two big performances this May. Storyteller and musician, Sean Driscoll will be in from Savannah to perform on May 15 at 10 AM. His show The Circus King combines comedy-theater, puppets, magic, music and animation into an extraordinary live show on the Aurora main stage. The show is about a young boy who is raised by a circus of misfits. The story is fully animated and shown on a big screen. The animated characters interact with Sean and the audience, and then with a little magic they come out of the screen and to life before your very eyes. This talented performer and his amazing show loaded with laughter and audience participation is not to be missed. On May 22 Aurora Children's Playhouse welcomes back an audience favorite, Ron Anglin, with his juggling show Quite a Catch. Ron Anglin uses juggling, yo-yo's, soap bubbles, a unicycle and more to present a fun and hilarious show. He will amaze and amuse with his entertaining feats of skill.Videos
