Atlanta Broadway Series Donates $12,545 to Girl Scouts of Greater Atlanta

Atlanta Broadway Series recently completed a successful engagement of theatre classic "Fiddler on the Roof," starring Harvey Fierstein, at Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre. Honoring the spirit of tradition, the Tony Award winning musical partnered with another community mainstay, Girl Scouts, for a special fundraising effort. Girl Scouts of Great AtlANTA, Inc. serves approximately 41,000 girls in 34 counties in the greater metropolitan Atlanta area. Having captured the hearts of people all over the world with its universal appeal, "Fiddler on the Roof," presented by the Atlanta Broadway Series as part of the 2009-2010 season, introduced a priority ticket offer benefitting Girl Scouts of Greater Atlanta. Theatergoers were invited to purchase advance tickets for "Fiddler on the Roof" at a special discount as part of a limited-time offer, in which $5 from every ticket sold was donated to Girl Scouts of Greater Atlanta.Following the completion of its acclaimed run of "Fiddler of the Roof," the Atlanta Broadway Series was thrilled to donate $12,545 to Girl Scouts of Greater Atlanta.
