Alliance Theatre Extends WHAT I LEARNED IN PARIS Through 10/6
The ALLIANCE THEATRE has announced that its world premiere What I Learned in Paris has been extended. The romantic comedy by Pearl Cleage, which was originally scheduled to close on September 30 will receive 4 additional performances – Thursday, October 4, 7:30p; Friday, October 5, 8:00pm; and Saturday, October 6, 2:30p & 8:00p.
Mini-skirts and bell bottoms were on sale downtown for $8.87; Stevie Wonder was on the radio singing Livin' for the City, and change was in the air from Buckhead to Butler Street. Pearl Cleage's sparkling new romantic comedy takes us back to 1973 and weaves a tale of passion and politics that could only happen in Atlanta. A world premiere by the best-selling novelist and author of the 2010 Alliance hit, The Nacirema Society Requests the Honor of Your Presence at a Celebration of Their First One Hundred Years. Sometimes you need to leave what you know to find what you need.
