The 2007 Williamstown Theatre Festival Gala will pay tribute to longtime associate, Kate Burton, on Monday evening, December 3, beginning at 6:30PM, at the Puck Building in New York.  The evening will include a live and silent auction: the gala is being catered by Williamstown's premier restaurant, Mezze Bistro, with chocolates from Savoy top 10 star chocolate makers in the US, Chocolate Springs.

Among those scheduled to appear in celebration of Kate Burton and WTF are Brooks Ashmanskas, Becky Ann Baker, Dylan Baker, Mark Blum, Dashiell Eaves, Christopher Fitzgerald, Jane Kaczmarek, Nathan Lane, Andrea Martin, Debra Monk, Lynn Redgrave, Jessica Stone, and Carol Woods and WTF's newly named Artistic Director, Nicholas Martin.

Nestled in the Berkshire Hills of western Massachusetts, the Williamstown Theatre Festival is a celebration of theater that brings together a vast array of artists and offers audiences varied cultural experiences.  Every summer, WTF presents classic and new plays on its Main, Nikos and Center Stages, Free Theatre, Late-Night Cabaret, readings, workshops and other special events including the Greylock Theatre Project, a youth program in North Adams, MA. WTF's many training programs offer nearly two hundred aspiring theater artists and managers an opportunity to study acting or serve as interns with professional designers, directors and administrators.
