Wagner College Theater will stage its season finale, "Disney's 'Beauty and the Beast'," on the Main Stage from April 21-24 and April 28-May 1.

Drew Scott Harris, long-time WCT guest director, has returned for this production, having recently completed a national tour of the same show. For Harris, this show is about true beauty found within, an ancient theme sometimes forgotten in a world of plastic surgery and a fear of aging.

The stage is huge, complicated and beautiful, and Harris is pushing his dedicated cast and crew to rise to the challenges of this big production. Assisting Harris on the creative side are guest choreographer Carissa Bellando and Wagner's own Lauri Young as musical director.

Graduating students in leading roles include Joe Donnelly, Kevin Callaghan, Chris DeRose, Graham Keen, Alison Maresco, Caitlin McGee and Sarah Trinachina. Break a leg!

Harris describes this show as "the most moral and beautiful show ever written . balm for the soul and the heart." To share in this spirit, we invite children coming to see the show to dress up as their favorite Disney characters.

Please note that tickets are selling fast, with several performances already sold out. To reserve your tickets, call the Wagner College Theater Box Office at 718-390-3259.
