What we're listening to: Songs from Disney's ALADDIN. The whole soundtrack, but mostly playing "A Whole New World" on repeat while trying to sing like Lea Salonga as Jasmine. The new Broadway version opens this Thursday, and we can't wait!
Quote of the Day: Theatre is meant to be "read into", so here's some motivation to dig deeper!
"All the best performers bring to their role something more, something different than what the author put on paper. That's what makes theatre live. That's why it persists."
-- Stephen Sondheim (via BrainyQuote)
Video of the Day: To welcome James Franco and company to Broadway tonight, check out the final 10 minutes of the 1939 film adaptation of John Steinbeck's classic novel OF MICE AND MEN.
And finally, a big happy birthday to three-time Tony-winner Glenn Close, who turns 66 today!
