A Tony Award winner for his performance in the musical JEROME ROBBINS' BROADWAY, Jason Alexander came to national prominence in 1989 as George Costanza in the landmark TV comedy SEINFELD. George Costanza garnered Alexander a Golden Globe Award, two Screen Actors Guild Awards, and six Emmy nominations for his performance during the comedy's nine-year run. The actor recently took over the role of 'Norman Drexel' from SEINFELD's Larry David in Broadway's FISH IN THE DARK. Alexander's other Broadway credits include Rupert Holmes' ACCOMPLICE, Neil Simon's BROADWAY BOUND, and the musicals THE RINK and MERRILY WE ROLL ALONG. His Off-Broadway credits include LIGHT UP THE SKY, PERSONALS, and FORBIDDEN BROADWAY. He most recently starred on stage in the Los Angeles run of the hit musical THE PRODUCERS. His many film appearances include roles in BRIGHTON BEACH MEMOIRS, PRETTY WOMAN, THE PAPER and LOVE! VALOUR! COMPASSION!
