And finally, a Happy Birthday shout-out to Michael Arden, who turns 31 today!
Arden, who will star in The Hunchback of Notre Dame this fall at La Jolla Playhouse, made his Broadway debut in Big River in 2003 and appeared off-Broadway in Bare in 2004, followed by Swimming in the Shallows at Second Stage in 2005. He has also appeared on the Great White Way in The Times They Are A-Changin'. In 2008, he assistant directed Broadway's A Tale of Two Cities. In 2010, Arden appeared in Aspects of Love at the Menier Chocolate Factory in London. And he just got engaged to fellow stage star Andy Mientus!
