The conversation includes Nathan Lane, Laurie Metcalf, Christopher Abbott, Ben Ahlers, and Joe Mantello.

By: Mar. 03, 2026

The upcoming Broadway revival of Arthur Miller’s Death of a Salesman has launched a new video series featuring former New York Times chief theater critic Ben Brantley in conversation with three-time Tony Award winner Nathan Lane, two-time Tony Award winner Laurie Metcalf, Christopher Abbott, Ben Ahlers, and three-time Tony Award winner Joe Mantello.

The short videos include conversations about the Miller masterwork, its enduring legacy, and the cast and director’s experience building the revival. Star Nathan Lane shares how he got involved in the project, and much more in the series.

Preview performances for Arthur Miller’s Death of a Salesman begin this Friday evening at the Winter Garden Theatre. Opening night is set for Thursday, April 9.

Lane shared, "I was rehearsing 'Love! Valour! Compassion!', the Terrence McNally play with Joe [Mantello]. He just touched me, he said, 'Someday you and I are going to do 'Death of a Salesman' together'. And I was like, 'Oh, okay,' I was probably in an apron and high heels at the time. So, I wasn't really thinking towards Willie yet. But I was touched that he felt I was worthy of taking on such a play."
