Summer may be winding down, but Verboten's StageONE outdoor festival series continues strong with two more events. Returning to 50 Kent Avenue on Sunday, September 6, Maceo Plex takes over with DJ Tennis, David August [live], Rebolledo and special guest DJ Koze, followed by the official afterparty at the Verboten club featuring back-to-back sets from Maceo Plex and Rebolledo, DJ Tennis and DJ Koze. Odd Parents warms things up at both the day and night events.

Verboten's latest StageONE with Jamie xx, Maya Jane Coles, Andhim and Matador (live) and more, hosted by THUMP, saw attendees gather at the Brooklyn waterfront venue to enjoy world-class talent, striking visuals - including the club's signature massive disco ball - and a delicious menu of Tex Mex-inspired favorites by executive chef Chris McLaughlin. Verboten would like to thank StageONE sponsors including Red Bull, Mamma Chia, Moët & Chandon, and Vita Coco. Check out the video recap via Verboten's Facebook here.

Verboten StageONE on September 6 features Ellum label head Maceo Plex bringing his heart-pounding beats to the massive outdoor sound system. Joining him is DJ Tennis, techno visionary and founder of the acclaimed Life and Death label; one of Resident Advisor's top 5 live acts in the world, David August, who releases on Diynamic Music and Innervisions; and Rebolledo, also know as one half of Pachanga Boys who head Kompakt sublabel Hippie Dance. Rounding out this stellar lineup of techno heavyweights is the very special guest, German DJ and producer DJ Koze who recently released his critically acclaimed DJ-Kicks mix on !K7; check out the track "I Haven't Been Everywhere But It's On My List" on Soundcloud here. Meanwhile, chef Chris McLaughlin will deliver another stellar feast this time featuring mouth-watering BBQ with vegetarian options.

On September 19, Carl Craig's Detroit Love concept meets Matthew Dear's avant garde Subversions residency, featuring Dear's notorious alter-ego Audion showcasing a high-class, innovative live sound, along with a hand-picked selection of globally revered techno artists including boundary-pushing Items & Things label boss Magda and Minus artist Gaiser, who injects melody and imagination into the sound of minimal with his live set, as well as Floorplan, aka Underground Resistance legend Robert Hood, and celebrated techno and house innovator Moodymann. Check out Carl Craig's recent Detroit Love Mixmag session here, a mix that "[combines] the warmth of house, the futurism that runs throughout anything Craig touches and the pure adrenaline rush that only the finest techno can spur."

The series is produced with the support of New York City Department of Parks & Recreation and Open Space Alliance for North Brooklyn (OSA). Proceeds from the concert series will be used to help maintain, activate, and further develop the Park. Single day tickets and combo passes are on sale now at VerbotenNewYork.com while supplies last.
