The third performance of David Gurland's popular new "DGUR in Concert" series will take place on Sunday night, March 18th.  The show will celebrate the male singers and songwriters of the 1970's and 1980's.  

Gurland will welcome guests Eddie Varley (from the off-off-Broadway production Into the Weeds) and Mike McArdle (brother of Annie star Andrea McArdle). The evening will be musically directed by Ray Fellman. The concert will feature a special appearance by Bistro Award-winner Rob Maitner.

The performance will "feature songs that will somehow envelop all the amazing genres, singers, writers and bands that made the 70's and 80's such a memorable musical mosaic. Among the Artists to be represented- Duran Duran,  The Bee Gee's, Barry Manilow, The Eagles, Neil Diamond, Elton JohnDavid Bowie, and more, as well as songs from David's acclaimed first (and only) self titled CD.  Please note guest artists and repertoire are subject to change," state press notes.

Gurland has performed in and for sold-out houses at such first class New York venues as BB Kings, Downtime, The Bitter End, The Cutting Room, The Living Room, CB's Gallery, FEZ, The Ace of Clubs, The Metropolitan Room, The Duplex, The Triad, as well as Odette's in New Hope, The Gardenia in LA, Martini Beach in Cape May, Twiggs in San Diego and The Manor in NJ. Gurland has also been the roster of distinguished artists to be included in Carnegie Hall's Neighborhood Concert series, for two seasons in a row. For his nightclub and cabaret performances, he has won the Manhattan Association of Cabaret's Hanson Award, as well as having been nominated an additional five times. He has also won three Back Stage Bistro Awards, more than any other Male Vocalist. His most recent endeavor was the acclaimed "Neurotica-An All Madonna Mini Rock Concert."
