Jennifer Nettles stopped by a recent episode of Bravo's WATCH WHAT HAPPENS LIVE and talks about making her Broadway debut in Chicago as Roxie Hart. The singer gives us a little insight into the character, behind the scenes and what we can expect musically from her. Watch the appearance below!

Jennifer Nettles and Carly Hughes joined the Broadway company of Chicago in the starring roles of Roxie Hart and Velma Kelly for a limited eight-week engagement -- continuing through Sunday, March 29, 2015 at the Ambassador Theatre (219 W. 49th St.).

Nettles has become one of the most popular singer-songwriters in music today and recently had a #1 Country Album with her solo debut CD "That Girl." As the lead vocalist of the country group Sugarland, the band exploded onto the music scene in 2004 and have worldwide sales of over 22 million (albums and singles) to date, have achieved eight No. 1 singles and have won numerous awards including trophies from the Grammys, AMAs, ACM Awards, CMT MUSIC AWARDS and CMA Awards.

Set amidst the razzle-dazzle decadence of the 1920s, Chicago is the story of Roxie Hart, a housewife and nightclub dancer who murders her on-the-side lover after he threatens to walk out on her. Desperate to avoid conviction, she dupes the public, the media and her rival cellmate, Velma Kelly, by hiringChicago's slickest criminal lawyer to transform her malicious crime into a barrage of sensational headlines, the likes of which might just as easily be ripped from today's tabloids.
