The New York City Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association is now selling tickets to the Thursday, May 2, 2013 performance of Broadway's Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike, the irresistible new comedy by Christopher Durang starring Tony and Emmy Award Winner David Hyde Pierce and Tony and Academy Award nominee Sigourney Weaver. A portion of the proceeds from ticket sales will support the free programs and services offered by the New York City Chapter, as well as research.

The performance will start promptly at 7:00 p.m. at the Golden Theatre in midtown Manhattan and will be immediately followed by a private post-performance dinner with the cast and crew at Pigalle for those who have purchased tickets to both the performance and dinner.

David Hyde Pierce, a tireless advocate in the Alzheimer's community, serves on the Board of the National Alzheimer's Association and as a national spokesperson. He lost his father and grandfather to the disease, and was honored last year with the Chapter's Lifetime Leadership Award at its "Forget-Me-Not" Gala, An Evening to End Alzheimer's.
