The short, dark comedy A Perfect Analysis Given by a Parrot by Tennessee Williams is set in a desolate third-rate St. Louis Tavern into which two 'society' ladies accidentally arrive. Members of the Women's Auxiliary of the "Sons of Mars" in Memphis who have come up for the National Convention, Flora & Bessie have lost the "boys" in their party but are still determined to have a good time. Their effort to amuse themselves by drinking beer and flirting with the waiter turns sour as feelings are provoked and brutal truths revealed. Just as the evening hits its all-time low, the "Sons of Mars" arrive and leapfrog in to save the night. This rarely performEd Williams one-act is an absurdly grotesque portrait of Southern Society and human nature.
The production will be directed by White Horse Producing Artistic Director Cyndy A. Marion & the cast will feature Mary Goggin*, Linda S. Nelson*, Peter Feliz*, Stephen Gleason* & David Arthur Bachrach* (*appearing courtesy of Actors' Equity Association/ Equity Approved Showcase).
