Despite previous reports, six-time Tony winner Audra McDonald's involvement in the film adaptation of Michael John LaChuisa's HELLO AGAIN is not yet a done deal.

Showbiz411's Roger Friedman, who first reported that McDonald was set to star in the film, has now received word that she's "considering this project but that an announcement of her participation is extremely premature."

Though it has never made its way to the Great White Way, the piece has been performed in and around the Big Apple.

Tom Gustafson will reportedly direct the project, which has a screenplay by Cory Krueckeberg, Gustafson's frequent collaborator.

BroadwayWorld will keep you updated should McDonald move forward with the project.
