Liberty Comedy presents Battle of the Sexes

Two male comics, two female comics, one each married and single, talking about relationships and other wonders of modern life. Just in time for Valentine's Day, enjoy an evening of deep laughs and sharp observations as these accomplished comics trade jokes about love and not-love, bad dinners and good dates, broken cars and unbroken dreams. Classic Albums Live presents Led Zeppelin IV

You don't see the Mona Lisa from the eyebrows down - you want to see the whole thing," says executive producer Craig Martin. That's why CAL plays each celebrated record note for note and cut for cut. Acclaimed by audiences around the country and right here in Wilmington, in February CAL will revisit Led Zeppelin IV, the landmark album that features "Black Dog," "Rock and Roll," "Going to California," and of course, "Stairway to Heaven." IV is considered one of the greatest rock and roll albums ever, and sold over 37 million copies in its original 1971 release. Tickets: $34

Eddie Izzard: Believe Me Tour - Tickets Limited

Over the course of a thirty-year career, Eddie Izzard has proved himself to be a creative chameleon, inhabiting the stage and film and television screen with an unbelievable fervor. Born in Yemen and raised in Northern Ireland, Wales, and England, he lost his mother at the age of six and that has affected the rest of his life. In his teens, he dropped out of university and took to the streets of London as part of a comedy double act. When his partner went on vacation, Izzard kept busy by inventing a one-man escape act, and thus a solo career was ignited. As a stand-up comedian, Izzard has captivated audiences with his surreal, stream-of-consciousness comedy-lines such as "Cake or Death?" "Death Star Canteen," and "Do You Have a Flag?" have the status of great rock lyrics. As a self-proclaimed "action transvestite," Izzard broke a mold performing in makeup and heels, and has become as famous for his "total clothing" rights as he has for his art. In Believe Me, he recounts the dizzying rise he made from the streets of London to West End theaters, to Wembley Arena, Madison Square Garden, and the Hollywood Bowl. Tickets: $40-$63

The Helsingborg Symphony Orchestra

2018 marks the 380th anniversary of the Kalmar Nyckel's landing in America and the start of the New Sweden colony. To celebrate that historical moment, The Grand, Delaware Symphony Orchestra, and The Kalmar Nyckel Foundation will welcome the Helsingborg Symphony Orchestra from Sweden on its first North American tour. With Music Director Stefan Solyom at the helm, this revered orchestra will play a program that includes Dances from Galanta by Zoltan Kodaly, the Rachmaninoff Piano Concerto No. 2, and Dvorak's Symphony No. 9, appropriately known as "From the New World." This multi-award winning young trio hails from County Clare in the west of Ireland, a long-established center for sensational Irish music. A Band Called Honalee

Although this modern-day folk trio draws its inspiration from Peter, Paul & Mary, they also perform early '60s favorites by other renowned musical artists such as the Mamas and the Papas, the Byrds, Simon and Garfunkel, and Bob Dylan. A Band Called Honalee returns to the baby grand by popular demand for another evening of intricate harmonies, timely song lyrics, and just plain fun. Lead vocalist Hanley Smith says "This music is timeless and it's so intelligently written that people can find something to fight for, no matter their political leaning, in it." she said. The Orchestra

A sensation with its performance at last year's Grand Gala, The Orchestra is back by popular demand to play an evening of nothing but hits by the Electric Light Orchestra. Featuring several former members of the '70s Top 40 hit machine, the set list will certainly include such favorites as "Evil Woman," "Strange Magic," "Don't Bring Me Down," "Turn to Stone," and "Do Ya?," among many, many others. Glenn Burtnik's Summer of Love Tour

A surprise hit at The Grand in 2016, Styx's Glen Burtnik and his Summer of Love Experience is back with a top-flight band of talented musicians to re-create the exciting, still-vibrant sounds of that generation. With horns, strings, and a full rock-and-roll band, the Summer of Love faithfully recalls iconic songs of The Doors, Otis Redding, Janis Joplin, Santana, Crosby Still Nash & Young, Joe Cocker, and many, many more into one psychedelic powerhouse of a concert. Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes

A perennial favorite at The Grand, the ultimate Jersey bar band is coming back for a night of great music and terrific camaraderie. A Southside Johnny concert, for the uninitiated, is the most amazing musical party you can imagine with 1200 of your closest friends. The Jukes evokes the musical history of the Jersey Shore in the same tradition as Springsteen and Bon Jovi, both of whom have played with Johnny. TAO: Drum Heart

Andrew Bird

Andrew Bird is an internationally acclaimed multi-instrumentalist, vocalist, whistler and songwriter who picked up his first violin at the age of four and spent his formative years soaking up classical repertoire completely by ear. As a teen Bird became interested in a variety of styles including early jazz, country blues and folk music, synthesizing them into his unique brand of pop. Tickets: $43-$51
