The fall 2010-2011 season at The Town Hall is set to include the annual BROADWAY CABARET FESTIVAL. All Broadway Music! All Broadway Stars! All Weekend Long, October 15 - 17, 2010. Experience an extravaganza of Broadway talent in three extraordinary cabaret concerts over one unforgettable weekend. From classic favorites to contemporary Broadway, from the newest stars to venerated icons, this is the Festival New York theatre fans have been waiting for. The series is created, written, and hosted for The Town Hall by Scott Siegel.

Every show has them, the tunes you can't stop humming. This new addition to the Broadway Cabaret Festival features an elite cast of talented stars performing those songs. An exciting concert brimming with rhythm and beauty, featuring hits penned by songwriters who made the Great White Way great-sensational songs people all over America knew and loved. Thrill once again to music of Jerome Kern, George Gershwin, Richard Rodgers, Cole Porter, Harold Arlen, Irving Berlin, and so many others down through the decades to the likes of Jule Styne, Cy Coleman, and more!

Starring two-time Tony Award® nominees Mary Testa (42nd Street, On The Town) and Tom Wopat (Catered Affair, Annie Get Your Gun), along with Theatre World Award winner Nellie McKay (Three Penny Opera), Saturday Night Live's Ana Gasteyer (Royal Family), and many more.

One of only a handful of women who can be referred to as A real BROADWAY star and a true legend, Tony Award® winner and three-time Grammy nominee she has acted in films, starred on television, and Broadway. Buckley made her Broadway debut in 1969 and has been called "The Voice of Broadway" by New York Magazine. Her rendition of "Memory" in Andrew Lloyd Webber's Cats established her reputation. She has recorded 12 solo albums and now tours extensively across the U.S. each year. She is also a composer; her first recording contains mostly songs she wrote. An evening with Betty Buckley is one you'll remember forever.

Built in 1921 by a group of suffragettes, THE TOWN HALL began as a lecture hall and public forum for debates. Over the decades, Eleanor Roosevelt, Margaret Sanger, Billie Holiday, Igor Stravinsky, Bob Dylan and MiLes Davis have graced the stage. Today the hall flourishes as a popular, affordable venue boasting the hottest acts in rock, pop, folk, cabaret, world music, comedy and dance, including Billy Joel, Robin Williams, Blondie, Elvis Costello, Natalie Merchant, Graham Nash, Liza Minnelli, Cyndi Lauper, Norah Jones, Andre Watts, Henry Rollins, Joe Jackson, Pink Martini, Regina Spector, Brian Adams, Aimee Mann and Dawn Upshaw. For over a decade, The Town Hall has hosted live broadcasts of Garrison Keillor's Prairie Home Companion. Over the past two-and-a-half decades, The Town Hall has produced a number of new and critically acclaimed musical series, which include Not Just Jazz, Broadway By The Year® and The Broadway Cabaret Festival.
