Al Church and Friends will perform live throwback hits at The Hennepin for the adult prom event.
Second Chance Prom is returning to Hennepin Arts with Promageddon! On Saturday, June 20 at 7 p.m. at The Hennepin.
Second Chance Prom is a campy, end-of-the-world-themed adult prom inspired by the 1998 blockbuster Armageddon—so dress like it's your last night on Earth and dance to throwback hits (yes, including Aerosmith's “I Don't Want to Miss a Thing”) performed live by Twin Cities favorite, Al Church and Friends.
Whether you missed out on prom the first time or just want a do-over, join the fun on June 20 on the third floor at The Hennepin, featuring a classic wood spring dance floor. Lean into the Late 90s vibe with butterfly clips, boy bands, Britney and TRL-era nostalgia, or go full “asteroid aftermath” with ripped formalwear, space suits or your own apocalyptic twist.
You don't want to miss this thing! Al Church and Friends is comprised Jourdan Myers (Vocals, Keys) Evan Fox (Vox, Bass) Alex Young (drums), Pete LaVoie (Saxophone) and Al Church, a multi-instrumentalist and songwriter from Minnesota.
VIP tickets provide access to the Pre-Prom Lounge at 7 p.m. plus the dance party. General admission tickets will get you into the dance party at 8 p.m. Must be 21+ years of age or older to attend – IDs will be checked.
