The box office for the 2007 Shaw Festival in Ontario is now open.

The only theatre in the world specializing in plays by George Bernard Shaw and his contemporaries, The Shaw Festival began in 1962 and continues to grow. Over 50,000 tickets have been sold for the 2007 festival since box office sales for members began last November.

The 2007 Shaw Festival season includes: Shaw's Saint Joan, Ivan Turgenev's A Month in the Country, Tennessee Williams' Summer and Smoke, Jerry Herman and Michael Stewart's musical Mack and Mabel, Hotel Peccadillo (by Georges Feydeau, adapted by Morris Panych), W. Somerset Maugham's The Circle, St. John Hankin's The Cassilis Engagement, Lady Augusta Gregory's The Kiltartan Comedies, and a new musical Tristan, by Paul Sportelli and Jay Turvey.

A new addition to the three theatre festival this year are Fab Fridays, a picnic dinner in the gardens complete with wine tasting and a live performance. 

January 2nd marks the beginning of on-line and by-mail ticket sales. In-person and telephone ticket sales begin January 6th.
