Author & Yorkville native, Thomas R. Pryor, brings his popular storytelling show "Yorkville: Stoops To Nuts" (show runs monthly at the Cornelia Street Cafe) home to his beloved Upper East Side for a special free holiday event on Thursday, December 4th at Ryan's Daughter in Manhattan. Pryor, whose memoir "I Hate The Dallas Cowboys: tales of a scrappy New York boyhood" (YBK Publishers) was published October 14th, brings the writing / performing talents of author / storyteller Michele Carlo (Fish Out Of Agua), comedia Abbi Crutchfield (PEOPLE Now, Living Room Show) , actor, Walter Michael DeForest (The Moth) , Colin Dempsey (Supersmall) singer/songwriter and a few surprise guests to Ryan's second floor performance space at 7:00pm.

Thomas will have copies of "I Hate the Dallas Cowboys" and his acclaimed 2012 photographic portfolio "River to River ~ New York Scenes from a Bicycle," available for purchase. Music for the evening's festivities will be provided by an acoustic version of No Name Comedy Variety Show's house band "The Summer Replacements" featuring Eric "Vandross" Vetter. Ryan's Daughter is located at 350 East 85th Street, (bet. First and Second Avenues). Take the #4, #5 or #6 subway to 86th Street. No cover, no minimum.
