John Minnock, "a new take on New York jazz and blues", returns to the stage this Saturday night (September 24) with special guest Ali Grieb (Joe's Pub).

A resident vocalist at the internationally-acclaimed Metropolitan Room, John first gained popularity in the Boston jazz scene before bringing his "new-breed" style of jazz and blues to NYC. An audience favorite with a rapidly-growing, diverse following, John combines great originality, musicality and showmanship with clever wit and irreverent humor, presenting a high-energy and entertaining evening of jazz, blues, funk and R&B. He leads a trio of accomplished musicians with carefully-crafted renditions of standard and contemporary hits from a wide range of artists. He is currently in production on his upcoming album, "Every Day Blues."
Upcoming performances are September 24 and November 19.
