The Theater People Podcast Welcomes SCHOOL OF ROCKS' Sierra Boggess

On Monday, February 22, the Theater People podcast welcomes Broadway favorite Sierra Boggess, currently starring the new Andrew Lloyd Webber musical School of Rock. Boggess made her Broadway debut in 2008 in the title role of the Disney musical THE LITTLE MERMAID. She went on to star in the Broadway revival of MASTER CLASS, opposite Tyne Daily, before heading to London's West End to originate the role of Christine Daae in Andrew Lloyd Webber's LOVER NEVER DIES, the sequel to THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA.

In 2014, she took over the role of Christine in the Broadway production of THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA as part of the show's 25th Anniversary celebration. Then in 2015, she originated the role of Rebecca Steinberg in the Broadway production of IT SHOULDA BEEN YOU.

In the episode, Boggess talks about her friendship with Andrew Lloyd Webber, shares memories of being cast in the star-making role in THE LITTLE MERMAID, offers advice for up-and-coming performers, and tells all about working on School of Rock.
