On Sunday, April 30th, 2017, The Queensborough Theatre Project will continue its adventurous inaugural season with KABARETT WEIMAR, a one-night-only immersive theatrical concert experience that recreates the divine decadence of Weimar-era German cabaret, featuring songs from the musicals "Cabaret" and "The Threepenny Opera."

TQTP will transform The LetLove Inn into a theater space for the first time in the popular bar and music venue's history. Artistic Director Steve Wargo hints that audiences "will be transported through secret doors and then behind the velvet curtains of the infamous Kit Kat Klub, where a devious Emcee, desperate dancers, stirring chanteuses, and bawdy burlesque performers await us all. 'KABARETT WEIMAR' aims to bridge the gap between bar-room cabaret and total theatre."

The evening will feature performances from singer-songwriter RoseAnn Fino, Allysa Fox (Elphaba in Wicked: Broadway, National Tour, and San Francisco companies), Carol Hickey (TQTP's A Christmas Carol; Sweet Sweet Spirit; Urinetown), Greg Laucella (In the Heights; Seussical), Vasthy Mompoint (Broadway: Rocky; Soul Doctor; Ghost; Mary Poppins), Brian Charles Rooney (Broadway's The Threepenny Opera; off-Bway's Bedbugs! The Musical; Kurt Weill Foundation Award Winner), and Bistro and MetroStar Award-winning cabaret singer and actress Lauren Stanford. Rounding out the ensemble are Demi Fragale, Brad Landers, Anthony Palenscar, Eugenia Primis, and Stephanie St Hilaire, with more acts to be announced.

KABARETT WEIMAR is conceived and directed by TQTP Artistic Director Steve Wargo; choreography by Holly Heiser (Fuerza Bruta); musical direction by Jeff Cox; production management and sound design by David Green; production stage manager is Katherine McCombs.
