The Old Grand Theater Company will present THE HALLOWEEN PLAYS as its inaugural
production. The Old Grand Theater Company introduces THE HALLOWEEN PLAYS by Will Snider:
five short plays about haunted hearts on Halloween night.

Five stories, each set on Halloween nights over the course of several years, THE HALLOWEEN PLAYS
tells the story of a group of teenagers from suburban Maryland who, on this night of make believe
horror and dress-up monsters, are forced to face the real traumas of adulthood: family, love, and death.
At the heart of these stories is Kayla whose disappearance from her family home triggers a series of
disturbing events. The plays are vignettes connected by a mood of loneliness, lust, and loss.

THE HALLOWEEN PLAYS, written by Will Snider and directed by members of the company, features
the talents of recent alumni of Columbia University and New York University. Cast includes: Alice
Mottola (MARY, AMY, FRANNY), Jack Moore (SAM, ROBBIE), Birdy Sahagian (KAYLA, MEL,
GIRL), and Will Snider (JEFF, FRANK).

THE HALLOWEEN PLAYS is the inaugural production of The Old Grand Theater Company, a troupe
devoted to producing new American plays plain and simple, no Hamlet in Space or interpretive dance,
just American drama. Will Snider's other full length plays include: A Bird Flies into a Mirror,
Everything Different, Cowboys and Indians, and Trees Like Nails, which was produced at the 2008 NY
International Fringe Festival. Three of the five plays in The Halloween Plays have been produced as ten
minute plays in The Shortened Attention Span Horror Festival at the Player's Loft from 2007-2010.
Reviews of the plays by NYTheatre.com said they blend "sparkling dialogue, assured direction, and
sound acting," and "I look forward to seeing whatever else Snider writes."
