The Off Broadway hit, The Musical of Musicals - The Musical!, has been chosen to kick off the "106.7 Lite FM Presents: Broadway in Bryant Park" summer performance series, opening Thursday, July 7 at 12:45pm in Bryant Park, 6th Avenue between 41 and 42nd Streets.  The Musical of Musicals – The Musical! will perform excerpts from the show, followed by performances by the casts of  three other Broadway and off Broadway shows.

"Musical of Musicals" has been called witty, shameless and great fun by The Village Voice.

The New York Times wrote, "The Musical of Musicals - The Musical! has real wit, real charm.  It's great fun. Talkin Broadway called it "A gift from the music theater gods!" 

The Musical of Musicals - The Musical! is a musical about ... musicals!  In a comic satire of musical theatre genres, one story becomes five musicals, each in the distinctive style of a different master of the form, from Rodgers and Hammerstein to Stephen Sondheim.

The music is by Eric Rockwell, lyrics by Joanne Bogart, and book by Rockwell and Bogart.  The cast is Craig Fols, Lovette George, and the authors, Rockwell and Bogart. Pamela Hunt directs and choreographs. 

The Musical of Musicals- The Musical!
  plays at the Dodger Stages, Stage Five, 340 W. 50th Street according to the following schedule:   Wednesday - Saturday evenings at 8 pm and Sunday evenings at 7:00pm. (no Monday and Tuesday performances). Matinees Wednesday at 2:00pm, Saturdays at 4:00pm and Sundays at 3:00pm.
