On April 13, the Iridium Jazz Club will celebrate the release of Ooh La La Coq Tail, a new CD from the Phoebe Legere Quintet, with two sets by the artists.

The Ooh La La Coq Tail is a new Jazz - Musette CD that includes 5 of Legere's original compositions, 5 French songs and 3 Great American Standards! It's all acoustic and joyously improvised- played and sung LIVE at the Bennett Studios - with Miss Phoebe Legere leading the band from the piano, plus: Dae Bennett is singing background vocals with Miss Legere!! The quintet includes Warren Vache, Jon Burr, Aaron Weinstein, Elvis Sinatra, and Warren Odze.

Legere's concert at IRIDIUM will include jazz interpretations of her signature songs, "Marilyn Monroe and Hot Sicilian Pizza Boy" in addition to original songs from her new CD: "Sex is Love" "Playing Me Like A Piano" "Sometimes it Snows in Las Vegas" and "I Love Myself When I'm with You."

Phoebe Legere is a transmedia artist. She uses many different forms of media: film, music, installation, electronics, paint, circuits, invented instruments, traditional instruments, performance art, poetry, costumes and movement. Phoebe Legere is a dynamic performer on piano, accordion, Native American flute, and synthesizer, with a four and half octave vocal range.
