The CORNELIA STREET CAFÉ will host Lisa Faith Phillips and Ellen Mandel as they perform HOW TO BE A BAD GIRL at 6pm on 6/29 and 6/30. The theater is located at 29 Cornelia Street, NYC, New York. Cover will cost $15. For more information call 212-989-9319 or visit http://www.corneliastreetcafe.com or http://www.howtobeabadgirl.com/.

The star of HOW TO BE A BAD GIRL, Lisa Faith Phillips is a charismatic comedian and former stripper. She had a sold-out tour of her popular parody musical 7 ½ Habits of Highly Successful Mistresses in Dublin, Ireland, New York and at the Capital Fringe Festival in Washington D.C., before being sued for trademark infringement by the FranklinCovey Corporation, owners of the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People trademark.

Drawing on her colorful experiences, working as a stripper to pay her way through graduate school at the London School of Economics, and her background in stand-up comedy and music, Lisa Faith Phillips weaves topical humor and songs into a clever, thought-provoking and ultimately touching show. Part comedy, part cabaret, part one-woman theater piece, it all adds up to an evening of sophisticated, fun entertainment.

The CORNELIA STREET CAFÉ will also have performances by ELEVATION on June 29 - 30. The show will be recorded and made into a CD. The group ELEVATION includes Abraham Burton (tenor saxophone), Lucian Ban (piano), John Hébert (bass), and Eric McPherson (drums). Cover will cost $12.

Lucian Ban recently collaborated with John Hebert on the unique Enesco Re-Imagined. Eric McPherson has been playing with Mr. Burton for a more than 20 years. The twof of them have been in duets and quartets since 2005 and have named their musical partnership elevation.
