The 48th Street Band to Present FOR THE LOVE OF 48TH STREET

Music lovers, it's that time again! Party like a rock star! Embrace your Rock&Roll History. Join in for take 3 of "For the Love of 48th Street," the All- Star celebration of NY's infamous and legendary 48th Street Music District.

For the rock legends you love- Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, The Rolling Stones, The Beatles, The Who- 48th street was one stop shopping for everything from pedals and sheet music, to guitars, amps, keyboards. Stars would personally walk into the famous stores to shop and hang out, Witness a musical celebration and tribute to yesteryear's bygone chapter of history. The house band will be amazing with SPECIAL SURPRISE GUEST STARS!!!! You never know who might show up (wink
wink)...and the back line of musicians, is in a word stellar!!
The 48th Street Band:

Keyboardist and vocalist extraordinaire, Benny Harrison has worked with Tommy James, Joe Lyn Turner, Joe Bonamassa, Angelica Torn, Corey Glover, Slash, Hiram Bullock, Phoebe Snow, and Oscar Hernandez. Benny has an amazing two and a-half octave vocal range and is a master of many styles.

Drummer Brian Dunn is a master on the skins. Whether its Funk, Jazz, Rock or Pop, with the likes of Hall and Oates( Rock's most successful Duo), the Legendary Average White Band, Patti Austin, Chuck Loeb, Live at Daryl's House, Cory Glover, Alana Davis, etc, Brian continues to be a sought after player for any musical situation where pocket and musicality are required.

Guitarist Julio Fernandez, one of the New York's finest, has worked with Bernie Williams, Spyro Gyra, Phoebe Snow, David Broza , and many others. Julio is a master of Rhythm and heart felt soloing,

Guitarist Mike Ciro, currently the musical director and guitar player for Alejandro Sanz. He has recorded with Mariah Carey, Luther Vandross, Notorious B.I.G., Janet Jackson,, and has performed with Stevie Wonder, Sting, Mary J Blige, Beyonce, Corey Glover, Chaka Khan, David Sanborn, Cory Glover, Alica Keys. Mike is also a member of the Black Rock Coalition.

Bass Gene Perez is a world class musician and collaborator. He has been a dominant force in the Latin community, working with Willie Colon and The Nyorican Soul, as well as with legendary DJ Grammy Award winning producer Little Louie Vega. . Gene also is working with Master's of Work, Mary Wilson, of The Supremes, Bernie Williams, and Lisa Fisher,back-up singer/solo artist, recently for the Rolling Stones.
