That Motown Band Manager, Lon T. Dolber, Honored At Event

Billie Holliday, Fat's Waller, Kurt Weill, Carole King, Frankie Valli, ABBA, Janis Joplin, Johnny Cash, Peter Allen, Jimmy Buffet, Donna Summer, The Shirelles, The Gogos, Green Day, Tupac Shakur ... AND too many Beatles tributes to count have covered the Broadway skyline for more than a decade as tributes and jukebox musicals. Now, Preemo Productions in association with Broadway's Town Hall will add its name to that list with BEGINNINGS MEETS THAT MOTOWN BAND.

On THURSDAY, JUNE 28, AT 8:00 P.M. at TOWN HALL, 123 WEST 43RD STREET, NYC, in the heart of the Broadway theater district the two bands will converge for a joyous night of nostalgia.

Beginnings honors the American rock band, Chicago, and That Motown Band covers the timeless music of Motown. Grammy-Award nominee Johnny Gale will be on lead guitar for That Motown Band.

That Motown Band's manager, LON T. DOLBER, will be honored on Wednesday, May 2 at Pier Sixty at Chelsea Piers for his work with the Center for Discovery. Mr. Dolber, CEO, CIO and president of American Portfolios Financial Services, Inc. (APFS). As a non-profit organization offering an experiential learning program through the primary educational system to students in their junior and/or senior year of high school, APFS has been actively involved with Virtual Enterprises International since 2014 through the judging and sponsorship of local student competitions.

Lon Dolber, along with Beginnings manager, Mason Swearingen, and Ed Levine, producer of Preemo Productions will be on-hand at the May 2 event.
