Tarzan's Phil Collins Featured on WPLJ Radio, September 2

Tarzan composer Phil Collins will be a featured guest on "The Rocky Allen 2nd First Anniversary Show" on WPLJ radio this Thursday, September 21st.  The show will be broadcast live from the Hard Rock Café in Times Square from 3pm – 7pm.  WPLJ can be found at 95.5 on the FM dial.

Tarzan, the Broadway Musical, opened May 10, 2006 at the Richard Rodgers Theatre (226 West 46th Street).  The show is presented by Disney Theatrical Productions (Thomas Schumacher, Producer).

Tarzan broke the box office record at the Richard Rodgers Theatre for three consecutive weeks, most recently by grossing $857,425 during the week of July 24 – July 30.   The show recently celebrated its 150th performance on Broadway on Sunday, September 17th.

The original cast recording of Tarzan was released by Walt Disney Records and is available now at the Richard Rodgers Theatre, in music stores nationwide and at online retailers including Amazon, iTunes and Disney Shopping.

The production stars Josh Strickland as Tarzan, Jenn Gambatese as Jane, Merle Dandridge as Kala, Shuler Hensley as Kerchak, Chester Gregory II as Terk, Timothy Jerome as Professor Porter and Donnie Keshawarz as Clayton.  Daniel Manche and Alex Rutherford alternate in the role of Young Tarzan.

Performances are Wednesday through Saturday at 8:00 PM, with matinees Wednesday and Saturday at 2:00 PM, Sunday at 1:00 PM and 6:30 PM.  Tickets are on sale now through www.ticketmaster.com, by calling 212-307-4747, or by visiting www.TarzanOnBroadway.com.
