For two nights only – Tuesday March 6 and Wednesday March 7, both at 7pm – Tanya Holt will reprise the critically acclaimed show she debuted at Urban Stages Winter Rhythms Festival in December. Her first nightclub act in five years, the newly titled "Forever Home," features music director Tracy Stark on piano, and Matt Wigton on bass. Lennie Watts, the Metropolitan Room's original talent booker and Holt's predecessor, directs.

In "Forever Home," Holt unflinchingly shines a light on aspects of her personal story.

Since her debut at Eighty-Eights in 1997, Holt has made a name for herself as a session and back-up singer in cabaret, supporting the likes of Lina Koutrakos, Rick Jensen, Anthony Cochran, Lennie Watts, Lorinda Lisitza, and Daryl Glen, among others. It is only in the past year – with show-stopping performances at the Cabaret Convention and Town Hall -- that the sultry singer, who has championed countless others, has been concentrating on her solo career.

"Forever Home" performs two nights only at the Metropolitan Room, 34 West 22nd Street, on Tuesday March 6 and Wednesday March 14, both at 7pm. The music charge is $20. For reservations call 212/206-0440. For more information or to order online visit www.metropolitanroom.com.
