TRUCKLOAD Has Mini-reunion During If It Only Even Runs A Minute Series 10/14

On October 14, as part of the If It Only Even Runs A Minute concert series, the Broadway musical Truckload will have a mini-reunion on stage at the American Theatre of Actors.

Truckload closed after 6 previews at the Lyceum in 1975. It was directed and choreographed by Patricia Birch (Pacific Overtures, A Little Night Music), composed by Louis St. Louis (Grease, Grease 2), assistant directed by James Dybas (The Scarlet Pimpernel, Sunset Boulevard), orchestrated by Ben Lanzarone (Via Galactica), and starred, among others, Ilene Graff (I Love My Wife, Promises Promises).
All five of these Broadway legends from the original cast will be on hand at the 5th edition of If It Only Even Runs A Minute, at 9:30pm, to share stories, photos, and songs from Truckload, and to celebrate the show.

Marty Thomas (Xanadu, Wicked) will also be on hand to sing the title song from the show.
If It Only Even Runs A Minute 4 & 5 are the fourth and fifth editions of evenings of rare and inspiring songs, anecdotes, and photos from underappreciated Broadway musicals. Created by Jennifer Ashley Tepper, Kevin Michael Murphy, and Caleb Hoyer, the concert is an official selection of the 2010 New York Musical Theatre Festival.

The 5th edition at 9:30pm will star:

The concerts will feature songs from and stories about 3hree, Birds of Paradise, Cops, December Songs, Dessa Rose, I Love My Wife, King of Hearts, Lestat, The Magic Show, Me And Juliet, The Moony Shapiro Songbook, Nick and Nora, Purlie, Roza, Salvation, Summer of '42, Thou Shalt Not, Truckload, The Will Rogers Follies, Witches of Eastwick, and more!
