Tom Gold Dance will perform as part of the Guggenheims Works and Process series on June 2nd and 3rd @ 7:30pm. In this interdisciplinary presentation that combines performing arts and science, New York Botanical Garden curator Dr. Michael Balick uses excerpts from theatrical performances to discuss the healing and harmful properties of plants and the use of plant-based remedies and poisons.

Tom Gold Dance will perform excerpts from Shanti with choreography by Tom Gold, music by John Zorn. Dancers to perform will beSara Mearns as the Moon Goddess, Adrian Danchig-Waring as the Young Indian Prince and Devin Alberda and Andrew Scordato as Attendants.

The company will also perform The Donkey pas de deux from A Midsummer's Night Dream with choreographer by George Balanchine © The George Balanchine Trust, music by Felix Mendelssohn with dancers Sara Mearns as Tatania, Adrian Danchig-Waring as Bottom, Devin Alberda as Puck and Andrew Scordato as Oberon.
