Laura Linney who is returning to the Broadway stage this fall, resuming her Tony nominated role in TIME STANDS STILL, will appear on tomorrow's episode of "The Daily Show With Jon Stewart."

In addition to talking about TIME STANDS STILL, Linney will also discuss her new television series on Showtime, "The Big C" which premieres Monday, August 16 at 10:30PM EST.

"The Daily Show With Jon Stewart" airs in New York on Comedy Central at 11 PM. Check local listings for airings outside of New York.

TIME STANDS STILL, the acclaimed Tony nominated Best Play will return this fall to Broadway's Cort Theatre (138 West 48th Street). The play, by Pulitzer Prize winner Donald Margulies, directed by Tony Award winner Daniel Sullivan, will star Laura Linney, Brian D'Arcy James, Eric Bogosian, and Christina Ricci.

TIME STANDS STILL, which enjoyed an extended sold-out run at Manhattan Theatre Club's Samuel J. Friedman Theatre this spring, will resume performances Thursday, September 23, 2010 and open Thursday, October 7. The production will be on hiatus until the fall to accommodate Linney's commitment to her new Showtime series "The Big C" which is now in production and will premiere Monday, August 16, 2010.

When it opened this spring, TIME STANDS STILL was hailed by critics and quickly became Broadway's "hot ticket" (WOR Radio). The New York Times called the play "handily Margulies' finest play since the Pulitzer Prize winning Dinner With Friends" and USA Today said the production "soars."

TIME STANDS STILL was honored with Tony and Outer Critics Circle nominations for Best Play and Laura Linney was recognized with nominations for Best Actress by the Tony Awards, the Drama Desk Awards, The Outer Critics Circle Awards, and the Drama League.

Sarah and James, a photographer and a journalist (Laura Linney and Brian D'Arcy James), have been together for years and share a passion for documenting the realities of war. But when circumstances compel them to return home to New York and their circle of friends (Eric Bogosian) the adventurous couple confronts the prospect of a more conventional life.
