The Tony Award-winning musical AVENUE Q celebrated same-sex marriage in the State of New York on July 24th when two of the show's stars - same-sex puppets Rod and Ricky -- exchanged vows in tandem with their flesh and blood Brothers and Sisters (and straight couples, too!), who were married on the historic day of same-sex marriage in New York. GLEE was a big hit at this year's Comic-Con on July 24. The event featured a sneak peek at never-before-seen GLEE footage and behind-the-scenes secrets, followed by a Q&A session in which fans asked everything they ever wanted to know about the Golden Globe-winning series. Darren Criss, Harry Shum Jr., Jenna Ushkowitz, and Dot Marie Jones represented the cast, greeting thousands of fans. For more photos from the panel, click here.

Earlier this week, several same-sex couples from the Broadway community wed onstage at the St. James Theatre immediately following the evening's performance of HAIR. These unions were among the very first in New York State, following the landmark bill recently passed by state legislators. The event was arranged by HAIR and Broadway Impact. The Muny has just released production shots for LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS. A true classic of camp comedy, this is the musical that's sure to grow on you! Seymour Krelborn, horticulturist and skid row loser, will be played by Rob McLure. Alli Mauzey is Audrey, a simple girl from the wrong side of the tracks. For more production shots, click here.

ROCK OF AGES welcomed 80's pop icon Tiffany on July 26, as she made her Broadway debut at the Helen Hayes Theatre. Tiffany performed her hit song "I Think We're Alone Now" on stage after the 7pm performance. Tiffany has sold more than 15 million albums worldwide and scored hits like "Could've Been" and "All This Time." Click here for more photos from the big event.

Stretch those tendons! Warm up those hamstrings! In honor of National Dance Day on July 27, the Ballet Girls of Billy Elliot the Musical hosted a free dance warm-up outside their home away from home, the Imperial Theatre. Passersby were invited to join in the exercise, with tutus optional. For full coverage of the festivities, click here.

There have been some major cast changes in the legendary musical LES MISÉRABLES at the Queen's Theatre. Caroline Sheen plays ‘Fantine', Alexia Khadime ‘Eponine', Craig Mather ‘Marius', Katy Secombe ‘Madame Thénardier', Liam Tamne ‘Enjolras' and Lisa-Anne Wood ‘Cosette'. They join Alfie Boe as ‘Jean Valjean', Matt Lucas as ‘Thénardier' and Hadley Fraser as ‘Javert'. After closing for three days for theatre renovations, the production re-opened with the new cast and musicians on Thursday 23 June. Click here for more photos of the new cast.

On July 26, Little Shop of Horror's original "Audrey", Ellen Greene, returned to the stage in the West End run of Betwixt! at Trafalger Studios. Betwixt! is a musical comedy conceived and written by Ian McFarlane. The show premiered in The King's Head Theatre London on 6 May 2008 and finished its first run on 22 June 2008. This Trafalger Studios production will run through August 20, 2011. For additional production shots click here!

Cast members from the critically acclaimed first national tour of HAIR: The American Tribal Love-Rock Musical, is now on Broadway at the St. James Theatre for a "Summer of Love" run for a limited engagement through September 10, 2011. HAIR's triumphant return to Broadway follows the launch of its successful first national tour of 20 cities in 9 months during the 2010-2011 season and features members of the Central Park tribe, Broadway Revival tribe, London Revival tribe and new tribe members. MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET resumed performances yesterday, July 28, at New World Stages after closing on Broadway on June 12, 2011. MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET played nearly 500 performances on Broadway and won a Tony Award and an Outer Critics Circle Award, and received Tony nominations for Best Musical and Best Book of a Musical, a Drama Desk nomination for Outstanding Musical Revue and three Drama League nominations including Distinguished Production of a Musical and two Distinguished Performance nominations. The Hollywood Bowl's production of HAIRSPRAY reunites original Broadway stars Harvey Fierstein and Marissa Jaret Winokur. Both Fierstein and Winokur, playing mother Edna Turnblad and daughter Tracy Turnblad, were awarded Tony Awards for best leading actor in a musical and best leading actress in a musical respectively for their appearances in HAIRSPRAY on Broadway. The duo is joined by Corbin Bleu, Drew Carey, Diana DeGarmo, Mo Gaffney, Nick Jonas, Darlene Love, Tara Macri, and John Stamos.

The new, off-Broadway production of Rent began previews on, July 14, and opens Thursday, August 11 at New World Stages. The highly anticipated resurrection of the cult classic, written by Jonathan Larson, is being directed by Michael Greif, who directed the show's original off-Broadway and Broadway productions.
