The 87th annual Academy Awards took place Sunday, February 22 at the Dolby Theatre® at Hollywood & Highland Center®. Hosted by Tony Award winner Neil Patrick Harris, the evening featured musical performances, a John Travolta do-over, moving acceptance speeches and a rousing 50-year Anniversary SOUND OF MUSIC tribute performance by Lady Gaga. Tuesday we got a first look at Helen Mirren in THE AUDIENCE on Broadway. The show is now in previews and will officially open March 8. Check out more pictures here!

The Pubilc Theater announced Wednesday that Lin-Manuel Miranda's HAMILTON will transfer to Broadway's Richard Rodgers Theatre this summer. The new musical is set to run through May 3 at the Public Theater, then move to Broadway where it will begin previews on July 13 and open on August 6. See more pictures from the celebration here!

Wednesday, we got a first look at ON THE TWENTIETH CENTURY, in previews now at the American Airlines Theatre. The musical, starring Tony & Emmy Award winner Kristin Chenoweth, Golden Globe & SAG Award winner & Tony nominee Peter Gallagher, Tony nominee Andy Karl, Mark Linn-Baker, Tony winner Michael McGrath and Tony winner Mary Louise Wilson, is set to opem March 12. The cast of The Hunchback of Notre Dame, now in rehearsals for a spring run at Paper Mill Playhouse, met the press this Wednesday. The musical features a book by Peter Parnell, score by Alan Menken (Disney's The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast) and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz (Wicked, Pippin), and stars Michael Arden (Big River) as Quasimodo, Patrick Page (Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark) as Dom Claude Frollo, Ciara Renée (Pippin) as Esmeralda, Andrew Samonsky (The Mystery of Edwin Drood) as Captain Phoebus de Martin and Erik Liberman (Lovemusik) as Clopin Trouillefou. Thursday, we got a first look at FISH IN THE DARK, the new comedy written by and starring Larry David. The play will officially open March 5 and run for an 18-week limited engagement through June 7. Click here to see more pictures of the cast in action!
