THE MARVELOUS WONDERETTES Approaches Opening at Artisan Center Theater

THE MARVELOUS WONDERETTES opens at Artisan Center Theater on Friday, January 5, 2018 and runs through Saturday, January 27, 2018. The 196 seat theater-in-the-round is located at 444 East Pipeline Road in Hurst. Performances are at 7:30pm on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday with 3:00pm matinees on Saturdays beginning January 13. Reserved seating tickets are $24.00 for adults, $22.00 for students and seniors, and $12.00 for children 12 and under. Monday through Thursday tickets are $22.00 for adults and $10.00 for children 12 and under. Tickets can be purchased online at ArtisanCT.com, or by calling the box office at 817-284-1200.

This smash off-Broadway hit takes you to the 1958 Springfield High School prom where we meet Betty Jean, Cindy Lou, Missy, and Suzy, four girls with hopes and dreams as big as their crinoline skirts! As we learn about their lives and loves, the girls serenade us with classic '50s hits including "Lollipop," "Dream Lover," "Stupid Cupid," and "Lipstick on Your Collar." In act two, the Wonderettes reunite to take the stage and perform at their ten-year reunion. We learn about the highs and lows the girls have experienced in the past decade and are charmed to find that no matter what life throws their way, they will conquer it together. Featuring over 30 classic '50s and '60s hits, The Marvelous Wonderettes will keep you smiling in this must-take musical trip down memory lane!

THE MARVELOUS WONDERETTES will be interpreted for the hearing impaired on Tuesday, January 9 at 7:30pm.
