Welcome to THE FRIDAY SIX: Q&As with your favorite Broadway stars. Want to know what hooked them to a career in the theater? Their dream roles? Their Broadway crushes? Read on!

In this week's edition, we caught up with Christopher Jackson, who is starring as 'Vertus' in Holler If Ya Hear Me- currently playing at the Palace Theatre.

What is the first Broadway show you ever saw? 42nd Street. It was magical. The perfect first musical.

What is your most unique pre-show ritual?

I FaceTime with my children and do a vocal warm up with Liz Caplan on my iPod.

What is your most memorable "the show must go on" moment?

Years ago when I was playing 'Simba' in The Lion King, I slipped over the edge of pride rock and thought I was gonna land on my head! I didn't though. I held on and climbed back up....and kicked Scar's butt!!! Adrenaline can make you do crazy things...

What is the one role you want to play before you die?

'Starbuck' in The Rainmaker. "The Rain Song" is one of my favorite musical theater songs. 'Black' from The Wild Party is another role I'd love to play one day soon.

Who is your Broadway crush?

I suppose I could say James Iglehart since he claimed I was his... I love Tony Awards but I'm not a fan of glitter! My wife says it's ok that Vanessa Williams is my Broadway crush.

Where can people stalk you online?

I'm on Twitter and Facebook.
