Welcome to THE FRIDAY SIX: Q&As with your favorite Broadway stars. Want to know what hooked them to a career in the theater? Their dream roles? Their Broadway crushes? Read on!

In this week's edition, we caught up with Marc Kudisch, who stars in Hand to God, currently playing at the Booth Theatre.

What is the first Broadway show you ever saw?

The first Broadway show that I ever saw was actually the first touring company of Into the Woods. I was a young South Florida actor about to move to New York City, and the theatrical community was invited to their final dress before performances started. I have never been to New York, so this was my first experience with Broadway caliber shows. The first act ended, and I started to leave thinking wow what a great one act, until one of ushers told me there was a whole second act! Then, right at the end of the show, at the finale, the orchestra and the company were off sync, and both James Lapine and Stephen Sondheim came out to apologize and they started the finale all over again. That was the coolest thing I've ever seen at the theater. Little did I know I would end up working with a lot of those folks on the stage.

What is your most unique pre-show ritual?

15 minutes of yoga on the stage. Nothing better...

What is your most memorable "the show must go on" moment?

Ooh, got a lot of them, quite a few with Sutton Foster, but I would say one of the most dire was the opening night of 9 to 5 in Los Angeles. As the set was moving into my first scene in my office, it completely broke down. So we were left with nothing but a large empty stage, and Megan Hilty and I had a whole scene and song completely choreographed and built around the set design. So we ended up having to do the entire thing from the hip, making shit up as we went along. Similar thing happened to me in Beauty and the Beast; we were supposed to be going out of the castle into the tavern for the number 'Gaston'; The set didn't move, so we end up doing the entire number (a beer mug click off), The next scene, and the reprise to the song all while the crew manually changed from the castle into the tavern. Yep, that happened...

What is the one role you want to play before you die?

Hasn't been written yet...

Who is your Broadway crush?

Anyone I'm working with... I've been really lucky... But I have to say, I get into more trouble with Sutton Foster on stage than anyone else I've ever worked with...

Where can people 'stalk' you online?

Hey! I just started tweeting, I know I'm way behind the times, but I'm kind of digging it, so tweet with me or follow me or however you do it @marckuds
