TANZ DER VAMPIRE Returns to Vienna in '09

Theatrical webiste Dramamusicals.de is reporting that twelve years after the premiere and 10 years after its journey around the world that Jim Steinman, Michael Kunze & Roman Polanski's cult musical 'TANZ DER VAMPIRE' or as it is known in the US DANCE of the VAMPIRE will return to Vienna!
The musical the webiste reports is due to return to Vienna in Autumn 2009 for a limited time after a tour stop in Ronacher. DANCE of the VAMPIRE is currently playing the Metronom theatre in Oberhausen.
Dramamusicals reports that while the show will return to Vienna, it won't be going back to the Raimund Theatre where it all started.
Other productions in 2009 of 'TANZ DER VAMPIRE' are scheduled for performance in Oberhausen, Tokyo, Vienna and Belgium.
A US presentation of TANZ DER VAMPIRE opened on Broadway in 2002, it starred theatre superstar Michael Crawford and while not a box office success it gained a passionate fanbase and cult status after closing in January 2003.
