Style.com Being Folded Into Vogue

By:

Condé Nast and Condé Nast International confirmed to WWD that Style.com is being folded into Condé Nast's new e-commerce site. All of Style.com's fashion news and runway coverage will now be found at Voguerunway.com - wich is part of US Vogue's site.

Condé Nast has been trying to grow Style.com's business even folding it into the-then Fairchild Fashion Group under the direction of Gina Sanders. But last fall, Condé Nast sold WWD to Penske Media Corp. and Style.com landed back at Condé Nast. Also, Condé Nast International has been trying to break into the growing luxury e-commerce world. This seemed like the perfect solution.

The new Style.com e-commerce site will debut this fall in the U.K. before the U.S. and other markets.
