To celebrate the 125th anniversary of the magazine "Good Housekeeping," and to salute influential and inspriring women of the past 125 years, celebrities will come together to present SHINE ON on Monday, April 12 at the New York City Center.

The event will be hosted by Brooke Shields (CHICAGO) and Meryl Streep ("Mamma Mia!"), and feature special guests Kristen Bell (THE CRUCIBLE), Aretha Franklin, Marlee Matlin ("Children of a Lesser God", Laura Benanti (GYPSY), Fran Drescher ("The Nanny"), Kelli O'Hara (SOUTH PACIFIC), and many more. Franklin will close the show with a special performance.

Ticket sales from SHINE ON will go towards building the first permanent location in Washington D.C. for the National Women's History Museum, which is dedicated to preserving, interpreting, and celebrating the diverse historic contributions of women.

New York City Center's mission is to make the finest in the performing arts accessible to the broadest possible audience, while insuring that its landmark facility remains an active and welcoming venue to both audiences and artists throughout the year.
