Author / storyteller Thomas R. Pryor ("I Hate the Dallas Cowboys: tales of a scrappy New York boyhood" - YBK Publishers) brings his "Stoops to Nuts," storytelling show back to his beloved neighborhood, Yorkville, for a special April Fool's Day celebration on Saturday, April 1st at Ryan's Daughter in Manhattan at 7:00pm. For more info, contact (212) 628-2613 or info@ryansdaughter.nyc

Pryor's guests will include Tricia Alexandro (actor/writer praised by The New York Times); Joe Dettmore (The Daily Show, Creative Director) and J.P. Connolly (King of The Hill). Pryor promises a swell time with Yorkville tales, ancient B&W photos, silly movies and great tunes sung by a surprise musical guest. No cover, any minimum, and drink specials!

Pryor's passion is preserving the history of Yorkville and the Upper East Side through storytelling, writing and photography. His solo presentation about the neighborhood, "City Boy" premiered at Ryan's in February 2017. Copies of his work "I Hate the Dallas Cowboys" and his acclaimed 2012 photographic portfolio, "River to River ~ New York Scenes from a Bicycle," available for purchase.

Ryan's Daughter is located at 350 East 85th Street (performance space is on the 2nd floor), (between First and Second Avenues). Take the #4, #5 or #6 subway to 86th Street. For additional information, go to yorkvillestoopstonuts.blogspot.com.
