Stephen Colbert Calls Out Charles Dickens Over The Second City's A CHRISTMAS CAROL: TWIST YOUR DICKENS! in LA

Noted television personality, author and political gadfly Stephen Colbert has an issue with Charles Dickens over The Second City's "A Christmas Carol: Twist Your Dickens!" The two writers of the new holiday classic, Peter Gwinn and Bobby Mort, are former and current writers, respectively, of "The Colbert Report."
In a statement received by The Second City, Colbert states: "The Second City's 'A Christmas Carol' was created by two of my writers! This Dickens jerk better have a good lawyer." - Stephen Colbert, Host of The Colbert Report, Second City Class of '94 Reached for comment at an undisclosed location, CTG Artistic Director Michael Ritchie said "This is between Stephen and Charlie. We don't want to take sides." The Second City's "A Christmas Carol: Twist Your Dickens!" opens November 29, 2012, at Center Theatre Group's Kirk Douglas Theatre. Previews begin November 24 and performances will run through December 30.
